AHA 2022: OCEAN(a)-DOSE, olpasiran cuts Lp(a) by more than 95 percent (Michelle O'Donoghue with CardioNerds)

Michelle O'Donoghue, Gurleen Kaur · · 14:29

Gurleen Kaur (CardioNerds) interviews OCEAN(a)-DOSE principal investigator Michelle O'Donoghue on the late-breaking phase 2 data: in patients with ASCVD and Lp(a) above 150 nmol/L, olpasiran (Amgen's siRNA) at 75 mg or more every 12 weeks lowered Lp(a) by more than 95 percent, with injection-site reactions the main adverse event. The result, published simultaneously in the New England Journal of Medicine, set up the OCEAN(a)-Outcomes trial. Recorded at AHA Scientific Sessions 2022.
